Georgie Marie Griggs

Georgie Marie Griggs, 63, of Salem, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2019 at St. Louis, Missouri. She was born to the late Willis George Busby and Eveline May (Box) Busby on April 26, 1955 in Marked Tree, Arkansas.                  

Georgie was united in marriage to Ronnie Odell Griggs on January 10, 1972 in Memphis, Tennessee. Georgie spent her working years in restaurant management and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Georgie leaves to mourn her passing; husband, Ronnie Griggs of Salem, Arkansas; two sons, Quentin Griggs and wife Rachel of Salem, Arkansas and Joey Griggs of Osceola, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Adreanna Griggs and Wesley Griggs; one great grandchild, Klayton Griggs; four brothers, Arthur Busby and wife Carolyn of West Memphis, Arkansas, Hubert Busby and wife Frances of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Donald Busby and wife Jeanie of Trumann, Arkansas and David Busby and wife Ruby of Tyronza, Arkansas; four sisters, Mary Ann Busby of Tyronza, Arkansas, Elois Allison and husband Lloyd of Tyronza, Arkansas, Diane Sharp and husband James of Marion, Arkansas and Ruth Vinson and husband Turner of Tyronza, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 12:00 noon Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. David Busby officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
