Glenda Levone Williams, age 88, of Elizabeth, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born on November 30, 1936, in Centerpoint, Arkansas, to Floyd Leonard and Bertha Vine (Talbert) Davis.
Levone spent her working years as an assembler for the Tri-County Shirt Factory, where she was known for her hard work, steady hands, and cheerful spirit. She was of the Baptist faith and lived her life grounded in love, kindness, and devotion to her family.
She enjoyed playing softball and basketball in her younger years and later found joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially watching hummingbirds and spending time with those she loved most. Above all, raising her children was her greatest joy and lifelong passion. Levone was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose heart was full of love and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Steve Williams of Elizabeth, Arkansas; two daughters, Susan Williams (Tonya King Williams) of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Patricia "Trish" Collins of Elizabeth, Arkansas; son-in-law; John Riley of Angleton, Texas; six grandchildren, Jason Riley (Jocie) of Angleton, Texas, Jena Weller of Angleton, Texas, Shandi Childres (Senaca) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, P.J. Collins (Morgan) of Bexar, Arkansas, Justin Collins (Bailey Frazier) of Bexar, Arkansas, and Sheena Collins (Jon Strout) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; nine great-grandchildren, Amelia Herbst, Julian Riley, Riley Wheeland, Secada Childres, Barrett Childres, Ethan Collins, Grace Collins, Aliyah Collins, and Kayley Staggs; and many other relatives and friends.
Levone was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Bertha Davis; daughter, Karen Riley; grandson, Jared Riley; great-grandson, Braxton Staggs; son-in-law, Jeff Collins; two sisters, Lea McCullough and Velma Walker; and her brother, Doyle Davis.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association. The family will hold a celebration of life service at a later time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
