Harold Ray Secrease

Harold Ray Secrease, 88, of Searcy, Arkansas, was born on February 20, 1933, in Moko, Arkansas son of Samuel Matthew Secrease and Ollie Bell (Holloway) Secrease.  He departed this life on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in Searcy, Arkansas.

Harold married Jessie Lee Turner on January 17, 1952, in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Harold spent his working years as a carpenter and as a foreman with parks and recreation for the city of Little Rock.  Harold attended church at Calvary Baptist Church.  He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, uncle, and friend.

He is survived by son, Steven Ray Secrease (Christy) of Greenbrier, Arkansas; five daughters, Linda Massey of Salem, Arkansas, Martha Statler (Steve) of Evening Shade, Arkansas, Janice White (Galen) of Salem, Arkansas, Rosa Young (Jimmy) of McNeil, Arkansas, and Rebecca Frost (Brian) of Conway, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren, Angela Brown of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Tiffany Brown Flynn (Joe) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Stacy Statler (Lori) of Center, Arkansas, Brian Statler (Kristi) of Evening Shade, Arkansas, Stephanie Hampton (John) of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Scott White of Salem, Arkansas, Heather Young Parrish (Justin) of Searcy, Arkansas, Brandi Young Manuel (Chris) of McNeil, Arkansas, Kaylee Strickland (Ryan) of Quitman, Arkansas, Meagan Secrease of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Raygan Frost of Conway, Arkansas, and Sidney Frost of Conway, Arkansas; twenty four great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife (Jessie Secrease), parents (Samuel and Ollie Secrease), four sisters, seven brothers, and great granddaughter, (Lacey Statler).

Graveside services will be on Sunday, January 23, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at Calvary Baptist Cemetery, in Evening Shade, Arkansas with Bro. John Deaton and Bro. Denny Distin officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Galen White, Brian Frost, Steve Statler, Stacy Statler, Jimmy Young, Scott White, and Brian Statler.  Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
