Hershell John Yeakey

Hershell John Yeakey, age 59, of Salem, Arkansas was born on December 31, 1958 in Freemont, California, son of William Claude, Sr. and Wanda Jane (Brimer) Yeakey. He departed this life on December 31, 2017 in Salem, Arkansas.                             Hershell spent his working years as a carpenter. He was a loving son, father, brother and grandfather. He leaves to mourn his passing; father, William Pratt of Jasper, Alabama; son, Jamie Yeakey of Haleyville, Alabama; daughter, Amy Vicente of Haleyville, Alabama; four grandchildren, Ava, Destiny, Krisslynn and Caroline; three brothers, William Yeakey, Jr. of Cypress, Texas, Sheldon Pratt of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Thomas Pratt of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; sister, Carol Bailey of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and sister (Tina Boyd).   No services have been scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
