Howard Dewayne Beard

Howard Dewayne Beard, 79, departed this life on February 5, 2022, at Camp, Arkansas.  Wayne was born in Weona, Arkansas on September 15, 1942, to Simon Fred Beard and Nina Maxine (Nash) Beard.  

Wayne spent his working years as an automobile mechanic and served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Navy.  He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Wayne leaves to mourn his passing; four sons, Gary Beard and wife Sandra of Trumann, Arkansas, Mark Beard and wife Jennifer of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Wayne Beard, Jr. and Maricia White of Calico Rock, Arkansas, and Adam Beard and wife Suzonne of Salem, Arkansas; two daughters, Sandra Stark and husband Charlie of Benton, Arkansas and Angel Duncan and husband Ricky of Cabot, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Darrell Beard and wife Cindy of Batesville, Arkansas and Billy Beard and wife Debbie of Saffel, Arkansas; two sisters, Vickie Holloway of Salem, Arkansas and Kathy Lunn and husband Sunny of Salem, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers (Harold and Freddy Beard), and sister (Linda Jared).

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Kimery officiating.  Interment will be in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark, Arkansas.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home LLC of Salem, Arkansas.
