Jackie Lynn Roberts

Jackie Lynn Roberts, 67, of Camp, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, November 15, 2024, in Searcy, Arkansas. Jackie was born December 6, 1956, to Wilbur Glen Roberts and Syble Charlene (Shelby) Roberts in Winslow, Arkansas. 

Jackie was united in marriage to Karen Beth Vickery on June 30, 1995, in Salem, Arkansas. Jackie spent his working years as a truck driver and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Jackie was a loving husband, father, and the best Pa to his grandchildren. Jackie loved to hunt, was a creative cook, a friend to everyone, watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, going to Salem Greyhounds football games, Moon Pies, Sprite Zero, and serving with the Camp Volunteer Fire Department. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and was attended the Camp United Methodist Church in Camp, Arkansas. 

Jackie leaves to mourn his passing; wife, Karen Roberts of Camp, Arkansas; son, Jeremy Roberts of Viola, Arkansas; four daughters, Courtney King of Viola, Arkansas, Bethany Hunt (Tony) of Salem, Arkansas, Hannah Norris (Blaine) of Viola, Arkansas, and Whitney Broughton (Dustin) of Salem, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Hunner Lynn Roberts, Jacob Wesley Roberts, Sadie Olivia Roberts, Jonathan Lyn Roberts, Makenzie Lou Roberts, Kailynn Beth Norris, Oakleigh Raelynn Broughton, and Atlee Maeve Hunt; six brothers, Johnny Roberts (LeeAnn) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Richard Roberts of Camp, Arkansas, Roy Dean Roberts (Cathy) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Ronald Gene Roberts of Viola, Arkansas, Michael Edward Blount of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and David Glen Roberts of Arizona; sister, Susie Ellis of Caroga, New York; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers (Donnie Glen Roberts and Kenneth Scott Elkins). 

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Jerry Barnes officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will be Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Hunner Roberts, Wes Roberts, Dean Roberts, Tony Hunt, Blaine Norris, and Dustin Broughton. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Roberts, Johnny Roberts, Gene Roberts, and the Camp Volunteer Fire Department. Memorials may be made to the Camp United Methodist Church in Camp, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
