James Mark Cochran

James Mark Cochran, 61, of Glencoe, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Little Rock, Arkansas. James was born April 30, 1961, in Independence, Missouri to Westel Dawson Cochran and Lillian Joan (King) Cochran.

James was united in marriage to Robin Reachell Woodham on September 16, 2015, in Little Rock, Arkansas. James received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas and retired as a Chief Accountant with the Veterans Administration. James loved spending time with his family, playing the guitar, hunting, fishing, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Arkansas Razorback fan. James served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. James was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

James leaves to mourn his passing; wife, Robin Cochran of Glencoe, Arkansas; three sons, Nicholas Cochran of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, Jacob Cochran of Alabama, and Tyler Cotton of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Connor Cochran, Emma Cochran, and Dawson Cochran; mother, Joan Cochran of Salem, Arkansas; sister, Lenisa Grass (Larry) of Glencoe, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father (Wes Cochran), son (Trevor Woodham), and grandparents (Harold and Bircha Cochran and Lavaughn and Mark King).

No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
