James Eric Crowe, 47, of Camp, Arkansas, passed away on August 2, 2025, in Camp, Arkansas. He was born on December 24, 1977, in Memphis, Tennessee, to James Edward Crowe and Barbara Ann (Curtis) Crowe.
On August 30, 1997, James married the love of his life, Karen Ruth Godwin, in Thayer, Missouri. Together they built a loving home in Camp, Arkansas, and raised three children who were the center of his world.
James was a dedicated supervisor in the Signal Department for Union Pacific Railroad, where he worked faithfully for 27 years. He was known for his strong work ethic, his generosity, and his readiness to lend a helping hand. He deeply loved his family and cherished time spent with them—especially attending his kids’ ball games, letting his daughter Madelyn drive, and going hunting, a pastime he truly enjoyed. One of his most treasured memories was a trip to Ireland with his wife, a place he instantly fell in love with.
James is survived by his wife, Karen Crowe of the home in Camp; two sons, Eli Crowe and Eric Crowe, both of Camp, Arkansas; and daughter, Madelyn Crowe, also of Camp. He is also survived by his parents, James Crowe (Anna) of Salem, Arkansas, and Barbara Ann Elliott of Camp, Arkansas; three brothers, Charles Allen Crowe of Saddle, Arkansas, Tommy Lee Crowe (Leslie) of Salem, Arkansas, and Richard Orvail Crowe (Brittany) of Salem, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Elaine Crowe of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; and many other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Emmett Cameron Crowe, and his stepfather, Carl Elliott.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas, with Bro. Jerry Barnes officiating.
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
