James Aaron Tiernan

James Aaron Tiernan, 72, of Salem, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. He was born to the late James B. Tiernan and Deloris A. Tiernan on April 11, 1946 in Valero, California.
James was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He married Ruth Ann Holden on March 7, 1995 in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He had a PhD in Tri-Biology Engineering and worked for 30+ years for Fiske Brothers Refining Company.
He leaves to mourn his passing; spouse, Ruth Tiernan; three sons, James Tiernan, Ricky Tiernan, and Dennis Tiernan; five daughers, Elizabeth McCollum, Carrie Ann Wilson, Wendy Bettis, Lisa Brown, and Sara Perkins; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, great-grandson, two brothers, and one sister.
