Jamie Scott Terrebonne, affectionately known to some as "Red Eye," was born on June 26, 1966, in Galliano, Louisiana. He departed this life on August 12, 2025, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, leaving behind a legacy of love, craftsmanship, and cherished memories.

Throughout his life, he devoted himself to his work as a carpenter in the construction industry, showcasing his talent and passion for building and woodworking. Jamie found immense joy in his hobbies, which included fishing, bow hunting, and riding his cherished Harley Davidson. He took pride in creating beautiful handmade items for his family and friends, reflecting his thoughtfulness and caring nature. Jamie also loved working with his chickens and listening to his music.

In addition to his many talents, Jamie served in the U.S. Army National Guard, where he demonstrated his commitment to his country. His strong sense of loyalty extended beyond his military service to encompass his relationships with family and friends, who he loved deeply.

Jamie is survived by his son, Jaycob Galbraith and his wife Allyna Reynolds-Galbraith, of Aiken, South Carolina; his daughter, Renae Sousa and her husband, Jeff, of Urbandale, Iowa; as well as five grandchildren, including River, Lucas, Skylynn Denise, and others. Jamie also leaves behind four brothers and one sister, along with numerous nieces and nephews, including Rebecca (William), Sidney (Monica), and Amanda (Gregg); great nieces and nephews, Willow, Lana, Leahanna, Lindsey, Esbon “Ezzy”, and Roux Dustin; lifelong friends, Rowdy and Betty Albers. Alongside many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Preceding him in death were his soulmate, "Little Neicy" Denise Galbraith, as well as his parents, a sister, and a granddaughter, Skylynn Michelle.

Jamie’s legacy will live on in the many lives he touched, and though there will be no services at this time, his family and friends will gather in spirit to honor his memory and the love he shared.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Barker Funeral Home to help offset the funeral expense. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
