Jarrett Wally Goodson

Jarrett Wally Goodson, 67, of Moody, Missouri passed from this life on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in Moody, Missouri. Jarrett was born November 6, 1953 in Hayti, Missouri to Jewell Wiley Goodson and Margie Dene (Rolen) Goodson.

Jarrett was united in marriage to Helen Jane Lewis on June 12, 2000 in West Plains, Missouri. Jarrett spent his working years as a carpenter and later delivered newspapers. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend, and was a member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church.

Jarrett leaves to mourn his passing wife, Helen Goodson of Moody, Missouri; stepdaughter, Debbie Miller of Soap Lake, Washington; stepgrandson, Brian Miller of Moody, Missouri; two brothers, Gary Goodson and wife Lavenia of Salem, Arkansas and Phillip Dale Goodson and wife Christi of Salem, Arkansas; sister, Deborah Smith and husband Ray of Union, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister (Angela Goodson), and stepdaughter (Lisa Jones).

Memorial services will be 2:30 P.M. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. until time of service on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Elizabeth Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
