Jeanne Foster

Jeanne (Cantrell) Foster, 73, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, August 26, 2021, in Salem, Arkansas. Jeanne was born July 31, 1948, to the late William Woodrow Cantrell, Sr. and Mary Alice (McNeely) Cantrell in Norwich, Connecticut.

Jeanne was united in marriage to Robert C. Foster on August 19, 1985, in Conway, Arkansas. Jeanne spent her working years as an LPN.  Jeanne loved riding motorcycles, was an avid animal lover, and was a member of the Mammoth Spring First Baptist Church in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Robert C. Foster of Salem, Arkansas; two sons, James Dalmer Rodgers III of Greenville, South Carolina and Phillip Dion Rodgers of Greenville, South Carolina; four step sons, Robert C. Foster II of Simsboro, Louisiana, Michael Joe Foster of Ruston, Louisiana, Stephen Zane Foster of Quitman, Louisiana, and Robert Bronson Foster of Melbourne, Arkansas; daughter, Alison Foster (Jeff Sanford) of Inman, South Carolina; two step daughters, Rosemary Foster of Ruston, Louisiana and Tatjana “Tiki” Marsh (Charles) of Quitman, Louisiana; three grandchildren; eighteen step grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter (Angela Carole Rodgers), parents, and half-brother (William Woodrow Cantrell, Jr.).

Graveside services for Jeanne Foster will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021, 10:00 AM, at Union Cemetery in Union, Arkansas.  Interment will be in the Union Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to the Union Cemetery Association.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
