Jeffrey Lee Turner

Jeffrey Lee Turner, 44, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, was born March 11, 1973, son of Jerry Orville and Margaret Faye (Lawson) Turner in Salem, Arkansas. He departed this life on May 17, 2017 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.   Jeffrey spent his working years as a heavy equipment operator and loved to hunt and fish. He was a loving son, brother and friend.   Jeffrey is survived by his father, Jerry Turner and wife Kathy of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; sister, Kathy Diane Lux-Turner of Thayer, Missouri; step sister, Natasha Holeman of Thayer, Missouri; three aunts, Brenda Sparks of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Mary Dawson of Viola, Arkansas and Janice Turner of West Plains, Missouri; two uncles, Wilburn Turner of Brandsville, Missouri and David Turner of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother (Margaret Turner), grandparents and aunt (Dee Turner).   Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 19, 2017 at Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas with Bro. Charles Barnett officiating. He will lie in state Thursday, May 18, 2017 from noon to 4:30 P.M. at Barker Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Barker Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses. Arrangements are entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
