Jimmie Ray "Jim Ray" Miller

Jimmie Ray “Jim Ray” Miller, 66, of Seneca, South Carolina passed from this life on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. Jim Ray was born February 20, 1955, in Batesville, Arkansas to the late Tommie and Ola (Neal) Miller.

Jim Ray was a Hero, because of his selfless act of being an organ donor.  He was able to save two lives with the donation of his kidneys.  He leaves to mourn his passing, brother, Ronnie Miller of Seneca, South Carolina; stepson, Tim Collins Miller of Lawton, Oklahoma; step grandson, Buddy Collins of Lawton, Oklahoma; two nephews, Tim Miller of Salem, Arkansas and Rusty Miller (Bobie) of Melbourne, Arkansas; two step nephews, Chris Shaffer (Gracie) of Salem, Arkansas and Nick Shaffer of West Plains, Missouri; two nieces, Lori Miller Standridge (Billy) of Thayer, Missouri and Serena Miller Reid (Berry) of Walhalla, South Carolina; six great nieces; four great great nieces; three great great nephews; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents (Tommie and Ola Neal Miller). daughter (Cassie Miller), son (Mike Miller), brother (Thomas Lee Miller), niece (Natasha Miller), and great niece (Stacy Miller).

Visitation services will be 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Old Main (the old Salem High School), 221 North Oak Street, in Salem, Arkansas.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
