Joan Gail Bowman

Joan Gail (Cruse) Bowman, 85, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed form this life on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Salem, Arkansas. Joan was born December 28, 1936, to Harold J. Cruse and Mildred A. (Avera) Cruse in Wilson, Arkansas.  

Joan was united in marriage to Barry Wayne Bowman on August 19, 1973, in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. Joan worked in education all her life as a librarian. She loved her children, family, and friends. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.  

Joan leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Barry Bowman of the home; son, Brett Chambers (Pam) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; daughter, Sherry Asbell (Greg) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; granddaughter, Katie Stamps (Bee) of Bella Vista, Arkansas; three great grandchildren, Eli Stamps of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Owen Stamps of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Eve Gail Stamps of Bella Vista, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.  

A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 23, 2022, at the Fisherman's Park Pavilion in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
