Joe Dale Coggins

Joey “Joe” Dale Coggins, 55, of Morriston, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, August 1, 2020 in Salem, Arkansas. Joe was born to Dale L. Coggins and Phyllis Ann (Smith) Coggins on June 16, 1965 in Sterling, Illinois.  

Joe was united in marriage to Tamara Lorraine Stowe on February 24, 1994 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and later married Wanda LaRay Peters on June 26, 2015 in Gamaliel, Arkansas. Joe spent his working years as a welder, carpenter, and mechanic. Joe owned and operated Joe’s Service and Tire for eighteen years. Joe loved his family, family get togethers, his cattle, and was of the Christian faith. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend

Joe is survived by his wife, LaRay Coggins of Morriston, Arkansas; son, Josh Coggins and wife Savannah of Greenwood, Arkansas; daughter, Hailey Coggins of Cripple Creek, Colorado; step daughter, Destiny Brooke Forbs of Paragould, Arkansas; granddaughter, Kendra Coggins of Greenwood, Arkansas; step grandchildren, Lila Brown of Paragould, Arkansas, and Atreus Brown of Paragould, Arkansas; mother, Phyllis Coggins of Salem, Arkansas; three sisters, Renae Busby and husband Rusty of Salem, Arkansas, Kelly Beers and husband Al of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Jessica Brown and husband Jason of Salem, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife (Tamara) and father (Dale Coggins).

Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Josh Pardue officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. until time of service on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Barker Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Josh Coggins, Everett Howard, Nick Busby, Rusty Busby, Jimmy Howard, and Bruce Springstun. Honorary pallbearers are David Morris, Greg Kissinger, Al Beers, Chuck Howard, Jason Brown, and Nick Murphy. Interment will be Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the Morriston Cemetery in Morriston, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
