John Arnold Golden Jr., 48, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, July 6, 2018 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. He was born to John Arnold Golden Sr. and Claudia Elizabeth (Luke) Golden on March 28, 1970 in Valdosta, Georgia.

John was united in marriage to Daniel Andrew Carroll on November 15, 2017 in Batesville, Arkansas. John loved the outdoors and enjoyed canoeing, gardening, and painting. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and husband.

He leaves to mourn his passing; spouse, Daniel (Carroll) Golden of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; loving mother and father, Claudia and John who I didn't get to see very much but I will be looking down on you from heaven; mother-in-law, Janis Collins; brother, Christopher Golden and wife Jori of Palm Harbor, Florida; sister, Belinda Knapp of Hahira, Georgia; two brothers-in-law, Glenn Carroll and wife Heather and Braxton Mullins; three nephews, Luke Golden, Andrew Golden, and Derek Knapp; two nieces, Riley Golden and Haven Carroll; many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Billy and Martha Golden and Claude and Betty Luke.
