Johnese Ruth Rhama

Johnese Ruth Rhama, age 83, departed this life on Friday, October 5, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born to the late Otis Lee Owens and Sarah Elizabeth (McCarty) Owens on July 18, 1935 in Elizabeth, Arkansas.

Johnese spent her working years as an assembler at Baxter Lab. Johnese loved going to yard sales, attending auctions, gardening, crocheting and sewing. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

She leaves to mourn her passing, two sons, Jerry Foster and wife Marianna of Crosby, Texas and James Foster of Sturkie, Arkansas; three daughters, Cheryl Foster of Oakland, California, Debra Perryman and husband Denny of Viola, Arkansas and Anita Moss and husband Bobby of Salem, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Shane Perryman, Dustin Perryman (Sarah), Jason Perryman (Jamie), Luis Cuellar, Lesha Foster, Jessica Risner (Chad), David Foster, Zachary Foster, Ashley Thomas and Summer Smith (Rocky); twelve great grandchildren; sister, Neva Talbert of Henderson, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends.  

She is preceded in death by her husband (Albert Rhama) and two brothers (Linza Owens and Charlie Owens).

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Robert Lash officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Gepp, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Shane Perryman, Dustin Perryman, Jason Perryman, Luis Cuellar, David Foster, Zachary Foster, Chad Risner and Rocky Smith. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
