Jonathan Louis Seay December 27, 1975 – July 26, 2025
Jonathan Louis Seay, 49, of Glencoe, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Glencoe. He was born on December 27, 1975, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Jeff Seay and Guylene (Rhoads) Seay.
Jonathan lived a life rooted in hard work, a love of adventure, and deep devotion to his family. A proud farmer and former U.S. Navy serviceman during peacetime, Jonathan brought dedication and strength to every chapter of his life. He was an avid skier—on both snow and water—and a loyal fan of University of Oklahoma football, baseball, and basketball.
A true outdoorsman, Jonathan enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and sailing. He traveled widely and loved a good game of dominos or cards. His heart belonged to his family, and he found great joy in time spent with them. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Jonathan is survived by his parents, Jeff Seay (Anita Collier) of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Guylene Seay (Howard Dine) of Kellyville, Oklahoma; his brother Bryan Seay of Glenpool, Oklahoma; his sister Elizabeth Bell (Tyler) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and two cherished nieces, Addi Beth Bell and Charley Beth Bell of Tulsa; lifelong friends, Deanna Hayes and Adam Henslee. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends who will deeply miss him.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Brent Seay, and his grandparents, Guy and Zela Rhoads, and Ann and Melvin Seay.
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Dale Godwin officiating. Interment will be in the Rhoads Cemetery in Glencoe, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
