Kathy Jean (Singleton) Rogers passed away peacefully in Mountain Home, Arkansas on March 4, 2026, at the age of 75. She was born on January 14, 1951, in Salem, Arkansas, to Guy and Modine (Tanner) Singleton.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, she grew up in Union before moving to Salem just before high school. She graduated from Salem High School in 1969 and attended ASU-Beebe for two years. Early in her career, she worked at Baxter Lab before marrying the love of her life. On August 25, 1973, Kathy married Kenneth E. “Ken” Rogers at Enterprise Baptist Church in Gepp, Arkansas. In 1979, the couple moved to Texas for Ken’s job with Dow Chemical, where Kathy began her lifelong career as a Home Management Specialist—a role she cherished and excelled in for the remainder of her working years. Together, they raised two beloved children and built a life filled with family, faith, and dedication to one another.
Kathy is survived by husband of over 52 years, Ken Rogers of Mountain Home; children, Julie (Chesarae) Rogers of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Christopher Rogers; grandchildren, Tristan (Emily) Rogers, Kaylee (Christian) Pierce, and Xander Rogers; great-grandchildren, Clark Puckett, Benjamin Puckett, and Alyza Pierce; sisters, Phyllis (Johnny) Goodman of Howard Ridge, Missouri, and Kay (Stanley) Yelvington of Huntsville, Arkansas, Debbie Baker of Kenansville, Florida; brother, Jerry (Linda) Singleton of Spiro, Oklahoma; brothers-in-law, James (Jodi) Rogers, Roy (Sandi) Rogers, and Dennis (Leslie) Rogers; bonus sister and best friend Connie (Frank) Bondurant; aunts, Mary Lou Tanner, Luella Tanner, and Nan Ferguson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who brought her great joy. She was preceded in death by her parents (Guy and Modine Singleton), sister (Paula Singleton), mother and father in-law (C.C. and Minnie Rogers), and sister-in-law (LaVerne Airrington).
Kathy’s warmth, strength, and loving spirit touched everyone she knew. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
