Kenneth David Pittman, Sr.

Kenneth David Pittman, Sr., 76, of Glencoe, Arkansas, passed away from this life on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at his home in Glencoe, Arkansas.  Kenneth was born July 28, 1946, in Russellville, Arkansas to Lester Pershing Pittman and Christine (Vest) Pittman.

Kenneth was united in marriage to Shelia Ann Yates on February 17, 1967, in Russellville, Arkansas.  Kenneth spent thirty plus years as owner of Pittman’s Body Shop and served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  Kenneth loved his family, his dog Rascal, and Arkansas Razorback Football.  Kenneth enjoyed making toboggan hats for mission work, adult coloring books, and rodeos.  Kenneth was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, friend, and was a member of the Viola Solid Rock Assembly of God Church in Viola, Arkansas. 

Kenneth leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Shelia Pittman of the home in Glencoe, Arkansas; two sons, Kenneth David Pittman, Jr. and wife Angie of Dover, Arkansas and Billy Daniel Pittman of Glencoe, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Brandon Scott Pittman, Bethany Hill and husband Joseph, and Eden Pittman; four great grandchildren; brother, Steve Allen Pittman and wife Carol of Mounds, Oklahoma; sister, Karen June Pittman of Mounds, Oklahoma; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother (Michael Lester Pittman), and sister (Catherine Ann Pittman).

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Joe Garner officiating.  Visitation will be 12:00 noon until time-of-service Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Barker Funeral Home.  The interment will be in the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas.  The pallbearers will be Greg Pittman, Mark Pittman, Jonathan Pittman, Daniel Pittman, Jack Thorp, Matthew Spurlock, and Jamie Yates.  The honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Pittman, David Pittman, Neil Vest, and Zach Yates.  Memorials may be made to the Viola Solid Rock Assembly of God Church in Viola, Arkansas.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
