Kenneth Lester Strauser

Kenneth Lester Strauser, 82, of Camp, Arkansas, was born on February 27, 1939, in Camp, Arkansas son of Clarence Leslie Strauser and Mary Belle (Hardin) Strauser. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. 

Lester was united in marriage to Louise Ranell Jones on December 12, 1991, in Searcy, Arkansas. He spent his working years as a contractor and was of the Baptist faith. He loved hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.  

He leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Louise Strauser of Camp, Arkansas; three daughters, Carolyn Strauser West of West Plains, Missouri, Kathryn Strauser of Mountain View, Missouri, and Lisa Gay Watts (Shane) of Strawberry, Arkansas; son, Dennis Glen Gay (Keeli) of Calamine, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; two brothers, Donnie Strauser of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Leroy Strauser of Camp, Arkansas; three sisters, Beverly Strauser of Jessup, Arkansas, Venita Strauser of Jessup, Arkansas, and Janie Riley of Cave City, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son (Michael Strauser), granddaughter (Kara Watts), parents (Clarence and Mary Belle Strauser), son-in-law (Ken West), three sisters, and five brothers.  

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at Camp Cemetery, in Camp, Arkansas with Bro. Dennis Gay officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Stephen Helton, Tyler West, Lane Gay, Justin Strauser, Jonathan Strauser, and Levi Watts. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home LLC of Salem, Arkansas.
