Larenda Joyce Standlee

Larenda Joyce Standlee, 75, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Salem, Arkansas. Larenda was born December 14, 1945 to Harold Silvanus Burkhart and Sylvia Josephine (Dalton) Burkhart in Sunset, Utah.

Larenda was married to Walter D. Standlee on September 11, 1962 in Lake Tahoe, California. Larenda spent her working years on fruit farms doing various jobs. Larenda loved gardening, sewing, family and there was nothing she couldn’t do. She was the kindest person and loved everyone. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend and was of Pentecostal faith.

Larenda leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Joyce Elaine Hendrix and husband Billy of Viola, Arkansas and Christina Sue Reeder and husband Mike of Salem, Arkansas; four sons, Adam Dee Standlee and wife Karen of Woodlake, California, Ronnie Rene Standlee of Woodlake, California, Timmy Gene Standlee, Sr. of Woodlake, California and Timmy Gene Standlee, Jr. of Salem, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Eldon Rae Armstrong; three brothers, Maxwell Harold Burkhart, Victor Verle Burkhart and Grantham Cody Burkhart; many other relatives and friends. Larenda is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters (Sonja Karen Ring and Kathy Yvonne Oliver) and brother (Brent Bodie Burkhart).

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
