Letha Jane (Harber) Martin

Letha Jane (Harber) Martin, 62, of Elizabeth, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Kennett, Missouri. Letha was born April 13, 1961, to Clyde Harber and Fern (Eagleman) Harber in Kansas City, Kansas.   

Letha was united in marriage to Doug Martin on December 15, 1979, in Henderson, Arkansas. Letha worked as the office manager for Marchant Lumber in Mountain Home, Arkansas for over 25 years. Letha loved spending time with her family traveling, swimming at their boat dock, playing games and water skiing. She was the foundation of the family, making sure she shared her love to make it even stronger. If you were lucky enough to have tasted her fried chicken, you’ll understand why it’s mentioned. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, GiGi, aunt, friend, and was a member of the Viola Church of Christ in Viola, Arkansas. 

She leaves to mourn her passing: husband, Doug Martin of Elizabeth, Arkansas; two daughters, Crystal Licari (Nick) of St. Louis, Missouri and Carmen Roberts (Brian) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Hayley Licari, Khloie Licari, Bryson Roberts, and Cadence Roberts; brother, Rick Harber (Sandy) of Viola, Arkansas; sister, Pam McGee (Earl) of Morrilton, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. Alan Talburt officiating. Visitation will be 12 noon until time of service on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be in Custer-Herron Cemetery in Henderson, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Nick Licari, Brian Roberts, Brandon Harber, Danny Comstock, Shane Brockwell, Phil Honey and Honorary Pallbearers Steve Mickey and Brandon Martin. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
