Lilly Mae Long

Lilly Mae (Tunnicliff) Long, 61, of Elizabeth, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, May 21, 2020 in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Lilly was born April 18, 1959 to the late Odis Ollen Tunnicliff and Velma Jean (Chism) Tunnicliff in Muncie, Indiana.

Lilly was united in marriage to Ronald Eldon Long on August 17, 1991 in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Lilly was a retired LPN and homemaker and a member of the Solid Rock Assembly of God Church. She loved her family and was always willing to help people. She was very spirited and taught her children how to live life to the fullest. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Lilly is survived by her husband, Ronald Long of the home; three sons, Seth Long of Elizabeth, Arkansas, Joshua Long of Elizabeth, Arkansas and Luke Long and wife Lacy of Elizabeth, Arkansas; four daughters, Stephanie Cotter of Elizabeth, Arkansas, Virginia Long of West Plains, Missouri, Joella Chism and husband Jeffery of Flippin, Arkansas and Sarah Long of Elizabeth, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; brother, David Tunnicliff; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter (Angela Renae Engles).

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Optimus Cemetery in Optimus, Arkansas with Bro. Allen Cartwright officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 22, 2020 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Seth Long, Jeffery Chism, Joshua Long, Shawn Cotter, Luke Long, Christian Cotter and James Laxton. Memorials may be made to the Bank of Salem in Salem, Arkansas under Lilly Long or to the Arvest Bank in Mountain Home, Arkansas under Lilly Long. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.

Please be mindful of our social distancing guidelines. We will have hand sanitizing stations set up at all entrances and exits and with the register book. Signs will be posted as well.
