Linda Maxine Jared

Linda Maxine (Beard) Jared, 76, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, November 21, 2021, in Salem, Arkansas. Linda was born in Oil Trough, Arkansas on October 4, 1945, to Simon Fred Beard and Nina Maxine (Nash) Beard.

Linda was united in marriage to Paul W. Jared on September 5, 2000, in Salem, Arkansas. Linda spent her working years as a Licensed Professional Counselor and was a member of the Psi Chi Honor Society. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and was a member of the Salem First Assembly of God Church.  

Linda leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Tammy Fleeman and husband Jonathan of Leachville, Arkansas and Tina McCormick and husband Danny of Kennett, Missouri; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Howard D. Beard of Camp, Arkansas, Darrell Beard and wife Cindy of Batesville, Arkansas, and Billy Beard and wife Debbie of Saffel, Arkansas; two sisters, Vickie Irene Holloway of Salem, Arkansas and Kathy Ann Lunn and husband Sunny of Salem, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by husband, parents, infant son, and two brothers (Harold and Freddy Beard).

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 29, 2021, at the Salem First Assembly of God Church in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Jerry Brown and Bro. Josh Pardue officiating.  Interment will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 29, 2021, in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark, Arkansas.  Pallbearers are Gary Wayne Beard, James Beard, Michael Beard, Latisha Smithee, Joshua Smithee, and Sunny Lunn. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Beard, Matthew Beard, and David Beard. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
