Loyd "Kenny" Tomlinson

Loyd Kenny Tomlinson, 73, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Jonesboro, Arkansas. Kenny was born November 17, 1947 to Max Franklin Tomlinson and Marget Adell (Taylor) Tomlinson in Batesville, Arkansas.

Kenny was united in marriage to Fay Miller in 2001 at Alvin, Texas. Kenny had a degree in Electrical Engineering and spent his working years as a repairman for tvs, vcrs, and appliances. Kenny was a loving husband and man who adored his family and was very protective of the ones he loved. He was a true believer in Christ and wasn’t afraid of death and welcomed it and eternal life. Kenny’s mother was very precious to him and he loved his nephew Chris like a son. He was a loving son, brother, husband, uncle, friend, and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church.

Kenny leaves to mourn his passing wife, Fay Tomlinson of Salem, Arkansas; two sisters, Marcia Dellinger (Grey) of Melbourne, Arkansas and Frankie Foley (Kenneth) of Salem, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Memorials may be made to the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
