Margaret Michaels

Margaret Michaels, 79, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Salem, Arkansas.  Margaret was born January 7, 1942 to Marvin Wade and Ida Irene (Fairchild) Wade at San Angelo, Texas.

Margaret was united in marriage to James Michaels on November 26, 1960 in San Angelo, Texas and to this union four children were born. Margaret spent her working years as a supervisor for childcare and was a member of the Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Margaret leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Leona Stevens of Syracuse, New York and Kim Marr of Houston, Texas; son, John Michaels of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; special friend, Loretta Knapp; many other relatives and friends.  Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son (Allen Michaels), three sisters, brother, and special friend (David Marr).

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
