Margie Ruthene Foster, 77, of Viola, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Viola, Arkansas.  Margie was born September 13, 1943 to Harvey Volner and Delcie (Skaggs) Volner in Burlington Jct., Missouri.

Margie was married to Jerry Foster on May 29, 1993 in Viola, Arkansas.  Anyone that knew Margie, knew she was a hard worker.  Margie worked on the fishing boats in Alaska and later worked for Baxter Labs until she retired.  Margie was of Christian faith after giving her life to Jesus Christ as a young adult and she attended the Elizabeth Baptist Church.  Margie enjoyed quilting, embroidering, sewing, cooking, flowers and gardening.  Margie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.

Margie leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Jerry Foster of Viola, AR; son, Lonnie Clark and wife Crystal of Mountain Grove, MO; step son, Chad Foster and wife Jamie of Viola, AR; daughter, Margie Bouttu of Birch Tree, MO; nine grandchildren, Ryan Harmon, Shawn Clark, Alexandra Clark, Stacy Clark, Megan Vernon, Virgil Clark, Jay Clark,  Nicole Walker and Lynnsey Foster;  eight great grandchildren, Rilynn, Lexi, Harley, Jayce, Jose, Javier, David and Jacob; seven brothers, Bob Volner and wife Linda of Harlem, GA, Roy Volner of Hartville, MO, Bill Volner of Fox, AR, Jessie Volner and wife Brenda of Bogalusa, LA, Lynn Volner and wife Kaye of Mt. View, MO, Hubert Volner of Hartville, MO and Eddie Volner of Mt. View, MO; four sisters, Faye Parsons and husband Pete of Mt. View, MO, Reta Young of Mt. View, MO, Irene Stallsworth and husband Cliff of Arroll, MO and Patsy Stallsworth of Mt. View, MO; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Margie is preceded in death by her two sons (Jay Clark and Donnie Volner), parents, great granddaughter (Jessica Vernon), two brothers (Dearl Volner and Carl Volner) and three sisters (Judy Richmond, Naomi Perkins and Lilly Volner).

Graveside services will be Monday, 2:00 PM, December 14, 2020 at Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas with Bro. Warren Newman officiating. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Clark, Chad Foster, Virgil Clark, Jay Clark, Stacy Clark, and Megan Vernon. Honorary pallbearers are her family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
