Marjorie Majora Holstine

Marjorie Majora (Barker) Holstine, 95, of Viola, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, December 12, 2020 in Salem, Arkansas.  Marjorie was born December 31, 1924 to William Clough Barker and Myrtle Elizabeth (Stephens) Barker in Viola, Arkansas.

Marjorie was married to Ruby Willeford and later married Lou Holstine. Marjorie spent her working years as a library aide for the Viola Schools and was a member of the Viola First Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Twyla Steuben of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandson, Curtis Bowman; great grandson, Aaron Bowman; brother, Ordene Barker and wife Lena of Viola, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends.  Marjorie is preceded in death by her husbands, parents, brother (Bob Barker), and sister (Adlee Cotter).  

Graveside memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Flora Cemetery with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
