Marshall Loyde Collins

Marshall Loyde Collins, 71, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Salem, Arkansas. Marshall was born June 24, 1949 to Loyde E. Collins and Mildred (Campion) Collins at Davenport, Iowa.

Marshall spent his working years with DRS Technology in West Plains, Missouri. Marshall was known by his grandchildren as “grandpa marshmallow”.  He was loved by all his grandchildren, friends, and family. Marshall loved to hunt, fish, and mow the grass.  Marshall loved watching nature and drinking a beer. He was the absolute best grandpa. His family included so many, and he loved them all and his friends were also especially important to him.

Marshall leaves to mourn his passing, children, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, 3 brothers (Perry, Gary, and Steve), sister (Sue), many other relatives and friends. Marshall is preceded in death by his parents (Loyde and Mildred) and a sister (Kalee Nelson).

A celebration of life visitation will be Friday, 2:00 PM until 4:00 P.M., April 16, 2021 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.  Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
