Mary Auline Morgan

Mary Auline Morgan, age 94, of Viola, Arkansas was born on April 17, 1923 in Dolph, Arkansas, daughter of Steve Frank and Lucy Pearl (Young) Wayland. She departed this life on Sunday, September 17, 2017 in Viola, Arkansas.                                                                                         Auline married Don M. Morgan on April 21, 1945 in Viola, Arkansas and to this union two children were born. Auline worked in a defense plant in Oklahoma, Tri County Shirt Company in Salem and was a homemaker. She loved gardening, piecing quilts and attended the Mitchell Assembly of God Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.   Auline is survived by her daughter, Joann Collins of Viola, Arkansas; daughter in law, Crystal Morgan of Harrison, Arkansas; brother, Wavil Wayland and wife Marie of Mountain Home, Arkansas: sister, Helen Zumwalt and husband Dale of Hermiston, Oregon; seven grandchildren, David, Ryan (Monica), Jacob, Juliet (Steve), Sheree, Doug (Debbie) and Allen (Jennifer): six great grandchildren; Shain, Shawn (Brittany), Justin, Jeffrey, Michael, and Michaela Smith; four great great grandchildren, Payton, Caydence, Joey and Angeli; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, son (Bob Morgan), parents, four brothers and three sisters.   Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Mitchell Assembly of God Church, Mitchell, Arkansas with Bro. Will Minick and Monte Neal officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. until time of service Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Mitchell Assembly of God Church. Interment will be in the Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Allen Smith, Shawn Smith, Jacob Morgan, Michael Smith, Justin Smith, Ryan LaBlonc, Shain Smith and Jeffrey Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are Terry Bixler, Max Williams, Duane Guffey, Jason Guffey and Charles Campbell. Memorials may be made to the Mitchell Cemetery Fund or Hospice of North Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
