Mary Katheryn (Loy) Hamann

Mary Katheryn (Loy) Hamann, 79, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Mary was born to Warren Leroy Loy and Lucille Katie (Lewis) Loy on September 2, 1943, in Los Angeles, California.  
 
Mary married Donald Richard Hamann on October 21, 1961, in Revillo, South Dakota.  Mary worked in accounting for Cenex and was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  Mary loved her family and church, enjoyed traveling, gardening, and giving to the food room.  She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. 
 
Mary leaves to mourn her passing, three sons, Robert Hamann (Kimberly) of Luck, Wisconsin, Scott Hamann (Tracy) of Welch, Minnesota, and Richard Hamann (Heather) of Redwing, Minnesota; daughter, Kathryn Goldman (Thomas) of Waukesha, Wisconsin; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband (Donald Hamann) and parents (Warren and Lucille Loy). 
 
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas and fellowship will follow services. A celebration of life will be 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Heather and Rick's home in Red Wing, MN. Memorials may be given to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
