Mary Luceile (Evans) Williams

Mary Luceile (Evans) Williams, 98, of Franklin, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, August 20, 2023, in Franklin, Arkansas. Luceile was born to Herbert and Maggie (Duvall) Evans on May 30, 1925, in Ash Flat, Arkansas.  
 
Luceile was united in marriage to Ted Williams in 1975 at Sonoma, California. Luceile spent her working years as a nurse's aide in nursing homes, Fulton County Hospital, and maternity homes. She spent most of her life living in Arkansas and Texas and was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ. Some of her favorite activities were reading, quilting, crafts, and flowers. She loved the Lord and her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend. 
 
Luceile leaves to mourn her passing, son, Larry Hall of Franklin, Arkansas; two daughters, Beverly Cosby of Springdale, Arkansas, and Helen Gail Weaver of Franklin, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Tammy Zulpo (Bill), James Weaver (Janet), Ross Weaver (Ceretia), Robert Weaver (Sandy), and Steve Cosby (Donna); six great grandchildren, Morgan Cosby, Grant Cosby, Kolton Weaver, Jordan Weaver, Mattie Zulpo, and Candace Harrington; one great great grandchild, Amelia Cosby; many other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband (Ted Williams), son (Verl Dean Hall), parents (Herbert and Maggie Evans), sister (Willene Gaston), three brothers (Bill Evans, Ray Evans, and Elwood Evans), and grandson (Heath Lesley). 

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. Arthur Mock officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.  Interment will be in the Wiles Cemetery in Ash Flat, Arkansas.  Pallbearers will be James Weaver, Ross Weaver, Robert Weaver, Grant Cosby, Steve Cosby, and Danny Evans. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Evans, Wesley Hall, and Jimmy Don Hall. Memorials may be made to the Childrens Home in Paragould, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
