Maureen Elizabeth Curtis

Maureen Elizabeth Curtis, 71, of Thayer, Missouri, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Salem, Arkansas. She was born on September 7, 1954, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Richard Curtis and Charlene (Niles) Curtis.

Maureen dedicated her career to working in healthcare with disabled adults, where her compassion and kindness touched many lives. In her free time, she enjoyed watching television, drawing, and working crossword puzzles. Most of all, she loved her family and those closest to her.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and caretakers, including Faye, Bobby, and John. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved partner, Chuck.

No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.

Maureen will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her creativity, and the love she shared with those around her.
