Michael Dwayne Strauser

Michael Dwayne Strauser, 62, of Brockwell, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, May 9, 2021 in Brockwell, Arkansas. Michael was born March 30, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to Kenneth Lester Strauser and Anna Lea (Abney) Strauser.

Michael spent his working years as a farmer and was a member of the Horseshoe Bend Boating and Fishing Club. Michael loved hunting, fishing, rodeoing, playing baseball, softball, and football. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Michael leaves to mourn his passing three sons, Jamie Hausman of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Justin Strauser of Merkle, Texas, and Jonathan Strauser of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; three daughters, Jessica Break of Hardy, Arkansas, Jodi Barrett of Merkle, Texas, and Sarah Brotherton of Salem, Arkansas; parents, Lester and Louise Strauser; five grandchildren, Zachary Brink, Logan Brink, Isabella Brotherton, Sophie Brotherton, and Ana Belle Break; two sisters, Carolyn Strauser West of West Plains, Missouri and Kathryn Strauser of Mountain View, Missouri; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother (Anna Shaw), grandparents, and brother-in-law (Ken West).

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Tom Pleasant, Rob Phoenix, Stephen Helton, Terrell Smith, Tyler West, and Preston Sinor. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
