Myreda Jo Smith

Myreda Jo Smith, 79, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Monday, December 28, 2020 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Jo was born September 18, 1941 to Burley Alford and Florence (Evans) Alford in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Jo spent her working years as a beautician.  Jo was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Salem, Arkansas and dearly loved the Lord.  Jo was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Jo leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Sherrie Gupton of San Jose, California and Cindy Elhard of Yuba City, California; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Sam Roork and wife Betty of Salem, Arkansas and Albert Roork and wife Anita of Salem, Arkansas; sister, Wanda Sherrod of Fresno, California; many other relatives and friends.  Jo is preceded in death by her parents.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
