Myrna Loy Johns

Myrna Loy (Peterson) Johns, 81, of Salem, Arkansas departed this life on January 23, 2019 at Salem, Arkansas. She was born to the late William Lawrence Peterson and Marcia Henrietta (Stanton) Peterson on May 2, 1937 Sisseton, South Dakota.

Myrna spent her working years as an LPN and served her country in the United States Army. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, companion and friend.

Myrna leaves to mourn her passing; longtime companion, John Murphy of Salem, Arkansas; son, Paul A. Wise of Spokane, Washington; brother, Stanley Peterson (Gisela) of Salem, Arkansas; two sisters, Marlys Peterson of Salem, Arkansas and Carol Peterson Stokes of Granite City, Illinois; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband (Porter W. Johns), parents, two brothers (Marion Foy Peterson and Larry Peterson) and sister (Wilda Miller).
