Patsy Carroll

Patsy  (Felts) Carroll, age 76, of Viola, Arkansas was born on January 3, 1941 in Viola, Arkansas, daughter of Wiley Pierce “Dick” and Minnie Belle (Paschall) Felts. She departed this life on November 11, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri.   Patsy was united in marriage to James Cordell Carroll on May 20, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri and to this union two children were born. Patsy spent her working years as a Chief Operator in production at Baxter Laboratories. She was director of Viola Senior Citizen Center and worked at home health. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Patsy loved quilting, fishing, family, grandkids and was a member of Viola First Baptist Church.   Patsy is survived by two sons; Scotty Lynn Carroll of Viola, Arkansas and James Bernard “Jimmy” Carroll of Viola, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Shaylea Worsham and husband John of Viola, Arkansas and Christopher Garrison; four great grandchildren, Wrowdy Worsham, Eastyn Worsham, Byntlea Worsham and Jayden Garrison; sister, Janice Williams and husband Garry of Viola, Arkansas; two brothers, Bobby Felts and wife Madge of Glencoe, Arkansas and Kenneth Felts and wife Barb of Viola, Arkansas; special friend, Connie Hutson of Viola, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother (J.O. Felts) and sister (Joyce Felts).                                                                                         Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Viola First Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges and Bro. Larry Ring officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, November 13, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Brian Hart, Robert Lash, Greg Williams, Bill Crow, Lee Hutson and Mike Hart. Interment will be in the Viola Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the Viola Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
