Phyllis Anne Beeching

Phyllis Anne (Bourgeois) Beeching, 76, of Salem, Arkansas departed this life on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Salem, Arkansas. She was born to the late Landry Bourgeois and Zelma (Breau) Bourgeois on August 17, 1942 in Morganza, Louisiana.                  

Phyllis was united in marriage to Ronald Mike Beeching on August 23, 1965 in Folston, Georgia. Phyllis was a Registered Nurse and worked in healthcare for fifty plus years. Phyllis served her country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Phyllis was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Thayer, Missouri and the Ladies Guild of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Phyllis leaves to mourn her passing; husband, Ronald Beeching of Salem, Arkansas; son, Kit Beeching and wife Jessica of Sherwood, Arkansas; daughter, Kim Holladay and husband Craig of Nixa, Missouri; five grandchildren, Micayla Holladay, Lane Holladay, Connor Beeching, Landry Beeching and Carson Beeching; sister, Patricia LeBlanc of Morganza, Louisiana; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers (Gary, Larry and Travis Bourgeois) and two sisters (Sheila Osiecki and Pamela Roberts).

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Thayer, Missouri with Father Sholby officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. until time of service of Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Thayer, Missouri. Interment will be in the Thayer Cemetery in Thayer, Missouri. Pallbearers will be the children and grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
