Rebecca Ann (Roper) McClelland

Rebecca Ann (Roper) McClelland, 45, of Viola, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Mountain Home, Arkansas. Rebecca was born December 13, 1975 to Terry Paul Roper and Naomi Anita (Cowgill) Roper Mitchell at Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Rebecca spent her working years as a homemaker and was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas. Rebecca was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.

Rebecca leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Mike McClelland of Viola, Arkansas; two daughters, Megan Renee Surber and husband Patrick of Viola, Arkansas and Ashley Nicole Roper of Viola, Arkansas; parents, Anita Mitchell and husband Don of Viola, Arkansas and Terry Roper and wife Peggy of Viola, Arkansas; stepbrother, Jackie Owens of Union, Arkansas; two stepsisters, Tina McGrew of Union, Arkansas and Jamie Billinger of Viola, Arkansas; special loved ones, Melvin Lee and Emme Grace; many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Wild Cherry Methodist Church in Wild Cherry, Arkansas with Bro. Jamey Cowgill officiating.  Interment was in the Wild Cherry Cemetery. Pallbearers were Casey Cowgill, Cass Cowgill, Caleb Kisman, Adam Kisman, Joshua Kisman, Mike McClelland, Codie Pendergrass, Jessi Allen, and Jeremiah Johnson.  Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
