Reble Marie Comstock

Reble Marie Comstock, 100, of Elizabeth, Arkansas departed this life on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Salem, Arkansas. She was born to the late John Richard Fout and Sarah Frances (Hickman) Fout on January 25, 1918 in Hand, Arkansas.

Reble was united in marriage to the late John W. Kyner on November 16, 1936 in Baxter County, Arkansas and later united in marriage to Eldridge Comstock on April 10, 1975 in Salem, Arkansas. Reble was the last widow of a soldier that was in the Spanish American War. She spent her working years as a homemaker and was a member of the Cross Roads Church of Christ. Reble’s grandchildren and great grandchildren aspired to be like her. She loved gardening, cooking, quilting and sewing. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

She leaves to mourn her passing; daughter, Frances May Talburt and husband Junior of Henderson, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Alan Talburt and wife Debbie of Henderson, Arkansas, Steve Talburt and wife Tina of West Plains, Missouri, Anita Richardson and husband Doug of Greenbrier, Arkansas and Bob Kyner and family of Topeka, Kansas, ; seven great grandchildren, Adam Talburt and wife Nicki of West Plains, Missouri, Jason Talburt and wife Valerie of Little Rock, Arkansas, Kasey King and husband Matt of Thayer, Missouri, Erin Sisk and husband Jamie of Searcy, Arkansas, Lucas Talburt and wife Katie of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Sean Richardson and wife Amanda of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Caitlin Richardson of Boston, Massachusetts; eleven great great grandchildren, Elsie Marie King, Morgan King, Miriam King, Anna King, Cole Talburt, Addison Talburt, Isaac Talburt, Avery Sisk, Bodie Sisk, Kai Richardson and Kohl Richardson ; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her two husbands, parents, two sisters (Edna and Ruth) and six brothers (Willie, Roy, Homer, Leslie, Lester and Evertt).

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Cross Roads Church of Christ in Gepp, Arkansas with Bro. Frank Plachy and Alan Talburt officiating. Interment will be in the Wake Cemetery in Diamond Bay, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Adam Talburt, Jason Talburt, Lucas Talburt, Sean Richardson, Jamie Sisk and Matt King. Memorials may be made to the Paragould Children’s Home of Paragould, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
