Reggie Barker

Reggie Barker, 77, of Peculiar, Missouri departed this life on Monday, February 18, 2019 at Peculiar, Missouri. He was born to the late Bob Barker and Bertha (White) Barker on February 23, 1941 in Alton, Missouri.                  

Reggie was united in marriage to Carolyn Kay Cantrell on December 25, 1959 in Viola, Arkansas and to this union two children were born. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

Reggie leaves to mourn his passing; wife, Carolyn Barker of Peculiar, Missouri; son, Eddie Barker of Peculiar, Missouri; daughter, Debbie Owens and husband Ronnie of Belton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Whitney Toates and husband Phillip of Eureka, Missouri, Heather Slusher and husband Matt of Grandview, Missouri and Dustin Barker of Grandview, Missouri; two great granddaughters, Andi Kay Slusher and Celia Slusher; two sisters, Berl Cox and husband Jack of Yuma, Arizona and Letha Alden of Denver, Colorado; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother (Tuffy Barker) and sister (Chessie Barker).

Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Mt. Calm Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas with Chip Chestnut officiating. Pallbearers are Shawn Batterton, Mike Howell, Larry Burns, Eddie Barker, Jim Batterton and Dustin Barker. Memorials may be made to the Viola Senior Citizen Center in Viola, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
