Richard John Chmielewski

Richard “Dick” John Chmielewski passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Salem, Arkansas. Richard was born to Alex Chmielewski and Martha (Guttman) Chmielewski on September 2, 1940. 

Dick was born and raised in Wisconsin and retired to Arkansas. Dick spent his working years as an auto mechanic and mold finisher. He was the former husband of Elaine (Diderrich) Beck whom he was married to for thirty years. Dick enjoyed working on old cars and was a member of some Hot Rod Clubs. Special thanks to these folks, Beverly Bridges, Pam at Spring River Falls, Randy and Blake Love, and Southfork River Therapy and Living Center. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend and was of the Catholic faith. 

Dick leaves to mourn his passing, son, Richard Chmielewski, and wife Sharon; daughter, Ann Marie Busack and husband David; ex-wife, Elaine (Diderich) Beck; three grandchildren, Kristin Marie Busack, Kaylin Chmielewski, and Eric Chmielewski and wife Sarah; great grandchildren, Josephine and June Chmielewski; brother, Jerry Chmielewski; sister, Mary Dodge; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents (Martha and Alex Chmielewski), grandson (Adam Busack), brother (Neil Chmielewski), two sisters-in-law (Mary Chmielewski and Ginger Chmielewski).
