Ricky Sherel Johnson

Ricky Sherel Johnson, 70, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Salem, Arkansas.  Ricky was born September 20, 1950 to Woodrow Johnson, Sr. and Bessie Dell (Turner) Johnson in Como, Mississippi.

Ricky spent his working years as a roofer in building construction. Ricky loved his family, giving to others, hunting, fishing, and playing the harmonica. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Ricky is survived by his, mother, Bessie Johnson of Hardy, Arkansas; brother, Mike Johnson and wife Reba of Hardy, Arkansas; two sisters, Jan Hughes and husband James of Woodville, Alabama and Judy Johnson of Bushnell, Florida; many other relatives and friends.  Ricky is preceded in death by his father and four brothers (Woody Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, Tommy Johnson, and Chris Johnson).

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Evening Shade Cemetery in Evening Shade, Arkansas with Bro. Joey Barnes officiating. Memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
