Raymond Louis Delargy, 70, of Salem, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Salem, Arkansas. Raymond was born on June 29, 1953, to Robert Fredrick Delargy and Jennie Willetta (Evans) Delargy in Nebo, Illinois.
Raymond was united in marriage to Sheila Kay Warden on July 3, 1971, in Morriston, Arkansas, and to this union three sons were born. Raymond spent his working years as a truck driver for Rising Fast, Inc. He enjoyed his time driving a truck and riding horses. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
Raymond leaves to mourn his passing wife, Shelia Delargy of the home; three sons, Robert Delargy and wife Rachel of Salem, Arkansas, Chad Delargy and wife Andrea of Saddle, Arkansas, and Nicholas Delargy and wife Lanona of Saddle, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Hunter Delargy and wife Jordyn of Salem, Arkansas, Jessica Delargy of Salem, Arkansas, Larissa Delargy of Melbourne, Arkansas, Bethanie Delargy of Melbourne, Arkansas, Emma Delargy of Saddle, Arkansas, Tyler Delargy and wife Heather of Ash Falt, Arkansas, and Cheyenne Howell and husband Dalton of Eureka, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Paul Delargy, Adam Delargy, Aubrey Delargy, and Harper Delargy; four brothers, Gary Delargy of Saddle, Arkansas, James Delargy and wife Connie of Salem, Arkansas, Bobby Delargy and wife Janet of Bonne Terre, Missouri, and Thomas Delargy of Thayer, Missouri; three sisters, Lela Kathryn Acord and husband David of Glencoe, Arkansas, Iris Hines of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Teri Delargy of Thayer, Missouri; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents (Robert and Jennie Delargy), and two brothers (Bruce Delargy and Jonathan Bradley Delargy).
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the Crossroads Baptist Church in Ash Flat, Arkansas with Bro. Henry Parker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
