Robert Hayden Wiseman

Robert Hayden Wiseman, 88, of Wiseman, Arkansas departed this life on Sunday, May 26, 2019 in Wiseman, Arkansas. Robert was born to the late Robert Lee Wiseman and Totsy Lou (Pogue) Wiseman on March 22, 1931 in Wiseman, Arkansas.

Hayden was united in marriage to Betty Louise Crouch on April 9, 1953 in Salem, Arkansas and to this union four children were born. Hayden was a concrete finisher with Horseshoe Builders for twenty years and also worked as a farmer for many years. Hayden served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Salem VFW Post #9777. Hayden loved reading, going to Indian Pow Wows with his wife and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

Hayden leaves to mourn his passing; three daughters, Marsha Wiseman of Wiseman, Arkansas, Sherry Wiseman Corbishley of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Cheryl Ekenes of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Jody Wiseman of Wiseman, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Brian Wiseman, Brad Wiseman and wife Lindsey, Stacy Barber and husband Jesse, Lee Corbishley and Hayden Ekenes; three great grandchildren, Caden Wiseman, Maggie Wiseman and Barrett Wiseman; brother, Gene Wiseman and wife Rhonda of Branson, Missouri; two sister-in-laws, Wilma Crouch of Wiseman, Arkansas and Jeanette Wiseman of Wiseman, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, son (Lindel Wiseman), parents, four brothers (Russell, Paul, Ron and Carl) and sister (Shirley).

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will be in the Wiseman Cemetery in Wiseman, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Brian Wiseman, Brad Wiseman, Stacy Barber, Jesse Barber, Lee Corbishley and Hayden Ekenes. Memorials may be made to the Wiseman Cemetery Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
