Ruby Inez Walker

Ruby Inez (Cantrell) (Burns) Walker, 93, of Viola, Arkansas departed this life on January 18, 2020 in Viola, Arkansas. Inez was born to the late William Floyd Cantrell and Amanda Sarah (Foster) Cantrell on April 18, 1926 in Viola, Arkansas.

Inez worked in the uniform department at Baxter Lab and was a member of the Mitchell Assembly of God Church. Inez loved to fish, listening to Gospel music, and gardening with her flowers. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Inez leaves to mourn her passing three sons, Lindel Burns and wife Lynn of Spokane, Washington, Larry Burns and wife Pam of Viola, Arkansas, and Gary Burns and wife Vickie of Batesville, Arkansas; four daughters, Jenene Rodgers and husband James of Bexar, Arkansas, Janett Burns of Viola, Arkansas, Coleta Burns of Viola, Arkansas, and Kathy Burns of Viola, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Christina Burns , Kristy Breen and husband Mike, Dana Guffey and husband Bryan, Clint Burns and wife Tina, and Amber Brown and husband Kirk; nine great grandchildren; and many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands (Carneil Lewis Burns, Bill Williams, and Doc Walker), parents, six brothers (Russell, Doyle, Vernon, Kenneth, Dallas, Everett), and four sisters (Margie, Bertha, Lucille, and Chloe.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Pastor Maxine Witt officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Calm Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Clint Burns, Brett Breen, Lane Guffey, Bryan Guffey, Carson Guffey, and Kirk Brown. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
