Ruthanne Shepherd

Ruthanne (Denoyer) Shepherd, 61, of Glencoe, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Salem, Arkansas.  Ruthanne was born November 22, 1959, to Clarence Denoyer and Harriet (Hackley) Denoyer at Kankakee, Illinois.

 

Ruthanne was married to Douglas Eugene Shepherd on March 6, 1981, in Conway, Arkansas.  Ruthanne worked at a few jobs but was mainly a homemaker.  Ruthanne loved all children and was always helping others.  She was very active in 4-H, CASA, Awanas, church, and always attended ballgames and events of not just her children but many others.  Ruthanne was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.  

 

Ruthanne leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Doug Shepherd of Glencoe, Arkansas; four sons, Jason Shepherd (Kelly) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mike Shepherd (Crystal) of Paragould, Arkansas, James Shepherd and Christine of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Randall Shepherd (Heavenly) of  Cabool, Missouri; three daughters, Amy Tyree (Tim) of Memphis, Tennessee, Bonnie Harlow (Cody) of Salem, Arkansas, and Stella Casey (Zachary) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.  Ruthanne was preceded in death by her parents and good friend, Robyn Archey.

 

Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Horseshoe Bend or to a children's charity of your choice.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home LLC of Salem, Arkansas.
