Shana Lannae Cochran

August 14, 1959 — September 3, 2021

Strength and honor were her clothing, and she will rejoice in the time to come. Prov. 31:25

Shana Lannae Cochran, daughter of the late Raymon Lawrence and Reta Doris Roberts, was born August 14, 1959 in Lincoln, Nebraska, and departed this life on September 3, 2021 at the age of 62 years, at Shady Oaks Healthcare, Thayer, Missouri. She attended several schools, as the child of a military family, before making her home with a very special aunt and uncle, the late Dale and Beth Roberts of Couch, Missouri. She was a graduate of Couch High School class of 1977 and a member of Welcome Hill Church of Christ.

She was united in marriage to Ray Bob Cochran, January 15,1987, with much love they made a home and a family in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.

Mourning her passing are her husband, Ray Bob Cochran of the home, sons Kyle Williams and wife Jennifer, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kib Cochran and wife Sarah, Kansas City, Missouri, Dr. Chris Cochran and wife Niki, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and daughter Lynn Maguffee and husband Marvin, Salem, Arkansas. One sister Shelley Underwood and husband Jim, Thayer, Missouri, two cousins like sisters, Debbie Peeler, Thayer, Missouri, Pam Brooks and husband Bobby, Couch, Missouri. Three precious granddaughters, Grace and Mary Cochran, and Evelyn Williams. Two special nieces Megan Pitts (Marc), and Jade Spangler (Darren) and all her much-loved Cochran family, Lawrence family, and Roberts family, too numerous to name.

Shana was a beautiful, passionate, and energetic soul who loved deeply. She loved God, her family, her precious devoted friends, and her church family at Welcome Hill. She was a talented artist passionate about art. She shared her love of art with her students in Couch, Thayer, Mammoth Spring, and her most special place Highland school districts, where she taught for more than twenty years and made so many special memories and friends. She loved to work in her gardens, entertain friends and travel, until she could no more. She was fierce. She battled four brain tumors over the past twenty years and she beat every one. Even the last one, she won, for she will see Heaven. Strength and Honor were her clothing, and she will rejoice in the time to come. Prov. 31:25
